This is Account Executive Jessica Fast’s first summer in Baltimore and she’s eager to check out what’s hot in a steamy Charm City. We’re a collaborative group and we’re plenty used to making lists (press lists, to-do lists, clip hit lists), so we figured we’d help her out with a list of our favorite uniquely Baltimore summer experiences:
– Hop on the hood of your car and catch a drive-in flick at Bengies in the County
– Cock your head, furrow your brow and appreciate some art in the BMA’s Sculpture Garden
– Grab an Oriole dog, a Boh and some beans from Pickles on your way to an O’s game at Camden Yards
– Get your game face on and join the Baltimore Beach Volleyball League
– Take in the beauty of the Ladew Topiary Gardens
– Roam the booths and hear some of Baltimore’s best local music at Artscape
– Cool off with a marshmallow-topped egg custard snowball from Elizabeth and Zyggie’s
– Lie down in the grass or try your hand at a game of Frisbee golf at Druid Hill Park
– Take a hike or bike ride through the trails at Gwynn Falls
– Throw on a costume, hop on your bike and join a Baltimore Bike Party
– Set sail on an Urban Pirate cruise on the Harbor
– Get a taste of Bawlmer, Hon at HonFest
– Catch a Summer Sounds outdoor concert at Belvedere Square
– Take the Light Rail to an O’s game
– Grab a Natty Boh and enjoy the “Rocket Fuel” wings on the patio at Rocket to Venus
– Watch the 4th of July Fireworks over the Harbor from a Baltimore rooftop
