April Showers Bring Big Crowds

What a great way to end our spring show season! Attendance was up 21% at the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival in Timonium this past weekend, the last show of Sugarloaf’s season. Baltimore TV stations were eager to meet Sugarloaf artists—all four of them covered the event. On Friday, Megan Pringle from WMAR stopped by for some early morning live shots, and WBFF featured four live demonstrations. WJZ and WBAL were at the Festival Saturday morning to shoot live demonstrations for their weekend programs.

Baltimore-area craft lovers set new sales records at the show—total sales were up 22%, the highest in six years! In fact, sales and attendance were up significantly at all of Sugarloaf’s Spring shows. We can’t wait for the Fall—and the opportunity to help set even more records!
