The Maryland Science Center hosted the best Pi Day party aROUND last Wednesday, and we were running in CIRCLES trying to keep track of all the great local and national coverage.
Joel D. Smith from Fox 45 stopped by for some morning live shots, WBAL Jen Franciotti put together a great SEGMENT for the evening news and WMAR captured riveting shots of the pie eating, pie tossing, and general math mayhem enCOMPASSing the CIRCUMFRENCE of the Maryland Science Center.
The festivities were also reported in the Washington Post’s “the buzz” blog, the Washington Post’s “Going Out Gurus” blog, and MSNBC’s Cosmic Log. And an Associated Press story made sure the entire nation was kept in the LOOP.
Pi Day certainly struck the right CHORD with the media.
